Decanted cleanly, with no sediment in bottle or filter. Deep magenta, opaque centre. Wonderful nose, full of rich and sweet fruit, very inviting. Rich and sweet fruit on the palate, lots of rounded tannins give great structure; delicious floral elements among the fruit - very flavoursome. Full bodied, full flavoured. Slightly hot on the aftertaste, then a long finish full of blueberry and licorice root. Fine port, with all that is needed for 5-10 years of development in the bottle. 88/100. Drunk 29-Mar-13. Pop 'n' pour.

Sounds like a winner. Never seen or heard of it in USA.

Is this the Quevedo that Is Tom's BOB?

This is produced by Quevedo for the not-for-profit organisation that Tom, Ray and some others set up. And it is pretty good port, but probably just starting to be a bit too acidic. Give it a couple of years and it should get a bit better.
