Dark! Sticky and hot on the tounge. Tasted of bitter raspberries - and almost like it was just picked p off the cellar floor - very chilled. Fine sediment- one to look out for.
Pitch black and opaque in the centre, deep red and mature on the rim. Harsh nose showing some menthol and a slight hint of fruit. Deeply flavoured and dense on the palate; a huge presence that is incredibly tight and youthful. Massive flavours with very generous tannins and a real presence - the tannins are still very active and give a big presence on the palate. Big length, deep and concentrated with a powerful and pronounced finish. Very impressive port with a lovely presence and a fine length. 92/100. Decanted 12 hours.
