With SushiNorth in London a few of us braved the tube strike to meet in the Bung Hole, the chosen theme being ‘Crazy 8s’.

FG78. judged as a vintage port, this failed. Cloudy orange, with a thin nose and a weak start. Put that aside. This is a tawny. Plate starts thin, then grows becoming fuller. The result is was very good tawny texture, and good sweetness. But as a VP, dead.
