So you're clearing out an old house, a deceased's estate maybe..
..and there are some grubby old bottles in the cellar that have no labels
I have recently had a superb discovery of old port, and the scary bit is that the widow of a 90yr old deceased gent, after sending his labelled bottles to auction, was about to throw out these grubby old unlabelled bottles until a friend said he knew some people who might pay for them. Which I did.
Not all grubby old unlabelled bottles are worth money, but they can be...
- Do ask here before assuming they are worthless!

Re: Grubby old bottles without labels
I've got a bottle like this and I have no idea whether to open it and drink it or just sit and hope!
Re: Grubby old bottles without labels
Bring it to a tasting.
