1994 Tesco

Post by PhilW »

At the request of Glenn E., passing through London on the way to Porto, an evening of port tasting with the theme "Variety is the Spice of Life". With TBH closed for refurbishment, this was held at Davy’s at Woolgate Bar and Brasserie where we were looked after very well.

80% opacity, dark red, cloudy. Dirty, jammy nose. Lively and acidic, not very integrated, young and fruity. Bit stewey really.

As this was tasted at the end, my notes are not really comprehensive:
a slightly pale ink colour, a harsh nose, quite harsh in the mouth and in the finish, quite rough
