The Central London Wine Society (who hold their tastings at The Civil Service Club, just off Whitehall) are doing a 1994 horizontal for their Xmas Port Tasting this year. Tickets are £50. If you're interested, let me know & I'll forward contact info. I might be interested depending on the date....

The first of two bottles purchased from VWP in January 2022. Just spotted that there's a tasting note in the Michael Broadbent's "The Great Vintage Wine Book" (the original 1980 version): Cabral Bottled 1973: fully mature looking; raisiny aroma; quite pleasant but little to it. Tasted July...

As mentioned above, the HMG Cellar is stored in Lancaster House, which has previously been available to visit as part of this.

Unfortunately it’s not included this year, but the Old Admiralty Building is, which is definitely worth a visit. There’s also a ballot to visit 10 Downing Street.

Supposedly the TVVV97 is also extremely good but ridiculously rare.
