Pale red into an orange/brown rim. Nice clean bottle with no cloudiness in the glass. The Cr03 was decanted, via an unbleached muslin cloth, at Newcastle Central station at 0735 on 18/3/25. The QA sample proved promising, and the contents of the decanter were placed under vacuum at 1145.

In summary, I thought that many Ports were of equally good quality, with a few shining through to attract points (per scoresheet). There were no Ports which I thought unimpressive, other than the (certainly faulty) D and the unfortunately closed T.

My six bottles (Pt, Pt+, Rr, Ck, SV, NiS=F&M) were left at the B&F on Wed 5th March 2025 . Because the staff of the B&F might not notice the Pt / Pt+ distinction, each bottle had around its neck a pre-written Wisemanesque decanter label. Full instructions re decanting are with the staff...
