1994 Quevedo Colheita Tonel Bottled 2024

From 90ml

95% opaque.

Big fruity nose of cherry cola.

Big bold black cherry fruit on the palate too. Nice dark chocolate couverture later. The full cherries in kirsch experience.

Really rather interesting.

1994 Quevedo Colheita Bottled 2004

From 90 ml Quite marked volatile acidity on nose, not even swirling releasing anything for a while, then a little black cherry Palate strongly marked by VA, chewy cherry jujube palate, drying tannins on finish. I am not sure this rendering is a great success. Might come back to it later to see if it...

2004 Quevedo Colheita Quinta Vale d’Agodinho bottled 2024

95% opaque, red rim.

Indeterminate nose.

Palate congruent.

Some coffee tannins.

Some almond blossom, late.

This is not very successful. I am not going to drink it.

2004 Quevedo Colheita bottled 2024

From 90ml

90% opaque, red rim

Vigorous swirling brings red fruit characteristics to the nose with just a tiny hint of volatility to add interest

Really dramatically red-fruity on the palate but it changes very fast to poached plum in the mouth.

A little short. Pleasurable but lacking oomph.

From 90ml

Bottled 2024

95% opaque, red rim

With a bit of swirling, slightly lifted (pleasant hint of VA) nose of raspberries and redcurrants and garrigue and fennel seed.
