Hi Andy,

Sorry for the slowness of reply, I missed this completely. I have upgraded Tapatalk and re-registered TPF with them but am having a bit of difficulty over getting it verified. I have a support call in and will hopefully have it fixed soon,

I like Palmer, especially the classic pencil-lead flavours associated with all Margaux wines. It's something I find particularly attractive along with the perfumed bouquet. I'm surprised that it still has such overwhelming tannins at 30 years old. I had the 88 a couple of years ago and it was lovely...

The only wines that should be drunk soon after bottlings are 'Nouveau' wines, which are made to slug - they are mostly junk anyway so no harm done.
