Taylor 1955 at Auction
Hi Guys, Long time, no see. My brother, who lives on Jersey, is at an auction and is perusing the wine offerings. He found Taylor 1955, nine bottles and asked me if I was interested. Well, if it goes for the price they've put on it £150-250 for the nine then yes but I suspect it won't go for that. L...

Re: TapaTalk issues with TPF
Hi Andy,
Sorry for the slowness of reply, I missed this completely. I have upgraded Tapatalk and re-registered TPF with them but am having a bit of difficulty over getting it verified. I have a support call in and will hopefully have it fixed soon,

Re: 1980 Chateau Palmer
I like Palmer, especially the classic pencil-lead flavours associated with all Margaux wines. It's something I find particularly attractive along with the perfumed bouquet. I'm surprised that it still has such overwhelming tannins at 30 years old. I had the 88 a couple of years ago and it was lovely...

NV Taylor Ruby (Select Reserve)
Rank I bought this from Morrison's today in the vain hope that at £6.49 I may have sought out a bargain. Matched up against a similarly priced Cockburn's, with an equally terrible name and the Dow junk Ruby, I assumed it must be the best of a bad bunch of nasty rubies. Having had 'Renown' before, I ...
