Thanks.
I've already made inquiries regarding the current reliability and potential customs costs of sending things to the UK, should get an answer tomorrow.
Ok-and yes, per Alex’s post, about 50km from London (and not far away from Alex).

Re: RE: Re: Latest buy

!!! Unload here! I am a 1964 baby and am always on the lookout for 1964 Ports, especially ones that I've never seen before. I have no idea how we would pull of a transaction seeing as I'm in Seattle, WA, USA, but I would love to figure something out! Yes, that might prove challenging (at least at a...

4.5L (Jeroboam) of Graham's 20 Year Tawny. I've been thinking of getting one for a long while to use at my new house warming party. Well, the now not so new house (moved in last year two days before lockdown started). Now that things are improving on the Covid front, I threw caution to the wind and...

Re: 1977 Graham's Vintage Port for Sale

Hi Sarah, Thank you for posting here and giving us the opportunity to buy the Ports. You might find someone interested, but my feeling is that you are being too optimistic with your target price. Right now, you can buy a case (of 12 bottles) of Graham 1977 from Goedhuis & Co for less than £78 per b...

Re: NV Quinta do Noval Crusted 1961

It says ‘unblended’ on the label and so clearly not crusted by today’s definition. I don’t when the minimum 4 years came in for LBV but producers appeared to have more license when it came to labelling back then eg Warre LBV 62 is simply labelled as ‘Vintage’ even though it was bottled in 66.

Re: Port Club Tasting - 15th April

Given the Graham’s starts at 7 and the Churchill’s at 8, it is possible to do both. However, perhaps the more sensible approach is to roll it into our Churchill’s tasting.

Hopefully not too late but yes please! I have the 64 colheita (which I agree with Glenn is great and knocked the Taylor 64 into a cocked hat when last tasted side by side-when Glenn was present I think). Also have the 77, 85 and 2000 VPs.

And might also want Cálem over something, that something perhaps being Cockburn. Others? I would agree with replacing the Ck as I think that this is one of most disappointing ...

Re: 1994s, Tue 16 Nov 2021

Opening price is £800 dp inc vat. No buyer’s commission. That's not bad although definitely caveat emptor with regards to this wine, as like George, I don't think that I have had a non flawed bottle of this wine although of course someone will now point out a tasting that I have attended to the con...

Re: Insane auction prices

I guess a combination of a dearth of auctions presently, everybody permanently hunched over their keyboards and the sheer boredom of lockdown is fuelling this bidding behaviour-at least in part. Hopefully, we'll see normailty (and sense) return when people have got other matters to occupy them.
