I suppose a quick and dirty solution would be to change it to "1908 Da Silva Colheita".

1980 Warre
Audouzed for about 12 hours, then decanted for 6. Bricking around the edges, still fairly dark at its core. A bit of dark fruit on the nose, which is dominated by cherries, with a hint of spice. Really attractive. Tannins still present, but not overly so. Heat barely noticeable, quite fruity, in a j...

Those prices don't make any sense! £70 for a bottle of 2016 LBV and £85 for a 20yo, but 'only' £98 for a 40yo?!

Re: Barão de Vilar Cheaper DOCs
Although I am not quite clear if they also own the Barros and Van Zeller brands, themselves. Barros is owned by Sogevinus, and Cristiano van Zeller (not of Barão de Vilar) owns the Van Zeller brand (along with his daughter, I think). As for the wines you mention, I've actually never tried either of...

Re: Taking a 1963 port to a restaurant?
Every time I've brought (Late Bottled) Vintage Port to a restaurant I've gone with #3. That way I retain control of the entire process (plus it saves me a trip to the restaurant in the case of #1).

My apologies for leaving abruptly. I went out to lock the outer gate and re-entered the living room just in time to see my computer go into hibernation mode. I forgot to plug it in!
Anyway, great to see familiar faces and meet new ones, great chat all around. Cheers!
