Not port!
Evening all, I was forced to by some claret that was included in a lot with some port and I was wondering if any of you would have an interest. There are three bottles: Ch. Beycheville 1966, Ch. Chasse Spleen 1982 and a bottle of Ch. Mission Haut Brion of unknown vintage as label is damaged. All lev...

Cases of Sandeman 1977 and 1994. Went to an auction to bid on Dow’s 1966 and Warre’s 1970 but these came up first and no one was interested so couldn’t resist. Other two lots went for silly money!

Please put me on the reserve list. It will be my 90th birthday that day so will have to celebrate the day before. I don’t have any 2011’s so will have to adopt.

Julian,
Arthur Colley was brought up a couple of km from me and last time I looked I lived in Ireland so as we were part of the British empire at the time it’s fair to claim the victory as a joint effort

Re: Thu 06 Apr - 55@55 again?
Alex,
My Cockburn 1955 is already in the B&F thanks to Derek (I mistakenly referred to it as Crofts). As I won't be arriving until that evening would someone decant it?
My plus 1, no doubt, will pm you.

The last number on a barcode is a check digit if it is following EAN guidelines. So product ref would probably be 199.

Julian,
Unfortunately Sinn Féin/I.R.A. is still funded in those cities. My brother lives in N.J. And he has been asked to attend numerous fundraisers just because he's Irish. He tells them where they can stick it! I'm a Labour supporter what am I supposed to drink? No rude answers please!

Best bargain purchase at auction
The latest tasting note from Alex reminded me of the bargain I got at auction when I bought the case of Adams 1967 along with cases of Cockburns 1960 and Taylors 1960. After discarding the serious leakers the bottles worked out at €14.18 each (£10.50 or $11.50). Even the Adam's worked out well! So w...
