Great note George, and I am sure a wonderful and not to be forgotten experience.

It is with great regret that I must withdraw from this tasting. I hope this will not cause any issues as there are people still on the waiting list, but let me know if there is any problem with the late notice, which I can only apologise for. I hope it is a great tasting for all.

There is also a pic of a Fortnum’s 2000 LBV which would have been produced by Niepoort and most likely drinking very well.

As has already been posted, they are not worth a huge amount, but there are some interesting bottles (particularly the LBVs) and I would venture that many of them will taste wonderfully so I hope you choose to try them and have much enjoyment.

A thought - do we want to make these tastings a bit more visible (by opening the thread much earlier) so that we get a chance to meet up with non-UKers (and others) like Glenn who can't get to the physical tastings? Maybe one per quarter where we try to get a "proper" attendance? Sounds g...

In Aviemore for the weekend with In-laws. Musar 2003 was a treat of a bottle despite a touch of VA. Some DOG Barolo 2016 which showed what a great year it is for that region. And a 2016 Suduiraut Sauternes and or a Maynards 10YO with desert, both of which were perfect for the occasion.
