Bottle from a case purchased from J&B's broking list. Opened 25 Feb 2026 at 0900 for tasting same evening. Decanted 1200 and back in bottle at 1600. Decanted clean and bright, loads of heavy sediment, QA sample good. Note - whilst label says "Shipped by Smith Woodhouse" the capsule say...

Bottle from a mixed lot purchased in 2025 for not many £s. Guess this is 10ish years old, maybe more? Very dark still and plenty of primary fruit. Some tannin remains. Quite tasty. Finally got around to checking my cellar.
I have Cr, N, S, T, W, G.
The Croft is an Army & Navy bottling that I got direct from the store in September 2004 when they were emptying their cellar. I'll bring that.

Also had this. Definitely wasn't right, but not totally undrinkable. Became apparent that it was mildly corked. Shame, as there was a nice wine lurking beneath the TCA.
