Yes, QdN LBV is definately a cut above anything I've seen so far.

I think the remainder of the list should remain a mystery until someone hits the relevant target

I wonder if we will hit the 1,000 posts before the end of our 1st week? What time did you launch the site on Wednesday?

Ahh, Mr V - nice to see you here at last. Unfortunately the photo above was taken 3 years ago. There is now more of me but I still look dignified, just look at the photo Alan took of me smoking that Cabana cigar

Quite possibly. To be honest, I am always suspicious when I see this sort of thing on an airport Duty Free shelf. There was lots of it, and the bottles were nice and dusty, but it just isn't the kind of wine I expect to see in that kind of retailer. It always suggests to me that they have come acros...

Interesting to see some big names in your list Ronnie, have you had these more than once recently or are you working on a hunch based on earlier experience and single bottle tastings?

I have heard of strategies that you can adopt which ensure your website is returned at the top of the list on google etc when someone searches for key words and phrases. Is this something we could do?

Al-B,

Good to see you here 88)

Are you sure you have posted here before? There was a temporary site on a different URL for a day or so and then this nice new one was launched last Wednesday.

I hope you can drop in from time to time on your trip and let us know what you're drinking

Derek , you've posted a picture of you as a Skinhead, you've got a dark satanic tree as your avatar and your desperate for women!!! Its not the method Brad Pitt uses. :D Alan Brad Pitt doesn't have my charm, wit and personality and, IMHO, is a bit on the skinny side. Jo often tells me she would rat...

Taking Pictures of Port

jdaw1 has encouraged us here to insert pictures of bottles, corks and port in our TN's. I am all for this but have 2 questions: 1. Is our current hosting arrangement up to the task in terms of bandwidth etc? 2. Can someone please give me some advice on how to take good clear pictures of glasses of p...

I wasn't advocating level pricing, just explaining that because the cost of producing the box and bin label is more than the cost of producing 2 bottles of Vesuvio VP doesn't mean that the value assigned to each by the shipper would be the same.

I'll wager that the cost of making the case and it's trappings is a lot more than the cost of producing two extra bottles! But, as we know, cost of production often doesn't have a direct link to retail price  - I'm sure if shippers sold their VP at cost + a standard profit margin we would all...
