The stoppers of Riedel decanters (e.g.) don’t have ground stoppers. For me, a no-no.

I am a 1964 baby and am always on the lookout for 1964 Ports, especially ones that I've never seen before.

I have no idea how we would pull of a transaction seeing as I'm in Seattle, WA, USA, but I would love to figure something out!
Yes, that might prove challenging (at least at a price point that makes sense to both of us). I'll make some inquiries, if you'd like.
Yes please. I even have an account with Seckford Wines in London if that works better than trying to ship to the US, though that does add considerable cost to then later get them to the US.

A mixed lot!
Now all I have to do is offload the Whisky and the Armagnac and have three free bottles of Port😊

Who produced the Armagnac? What would you want for both?

Went to see my cousin at Quinta do Bomfim and ended up getting some LBVs. Graham's 2015 and Warre's Unfiltered 2008. Threw a couple of Six Grapes into the mix, and I'm sipping one now. Good value.

I've been thinking of getting one for a long while to use at my new house warming party. Well, the now not so new house (moved in last year two days before lockdown started). Now that things are improving on the Covid front, I threw caution to the wind and got one. At some point this summer it will be opened at the, now very late, house warming gathering...when we're allowed more people to gather that is.
Picked up one of these at auction last year and targeting opening it at my wife’s birthday bash at the end of next month

I too have vested interest in that particular year and so like Glenn would be interested in coming to an arrangement (buy/trade) and also assisting Glenn on his side if practical.

Ian (idj123) is based in the south of the UK, not far from Heathrow.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Thanks.
I've already made inquiries regarding the current reliability and potential customs costs of sending things to the UK, should get an answer tomorrow.

Ok-and yes, per Alex’s post, about 50km from London (and not far away from Alex).

Chris I tried to pm you but won't go out of my outbox! Sempe are the producers and as per my pm (if it ever gets to you) Won't sell to TPF members as I want to cover the cost of the other bottles and I don't take profit from you all as I rely on TPF for advice etc.

I've had that happen as well (the outbox thing). Not sure what it means (has the message not reached the recipient? Have they received it but not read it?).

PMs stay in your Outbox until the recipient reads them. It's a weird quirk of phpBB.

Indeed a big fan and quite a collection as I have seen in other posts. How long do you tend to keep these tawnies for? As I understand, Graham's expect you to drink them "shortly" after release.

6 bottles of Graham's 85. Unfortunately, sent to storage due to lack of space :(

(this post should be viewed as a cry for help to drink more port)
