In Streatham, on Saturday 30th January 2016, Mr and Mrs Gandhi were the guests of Mr and Mrs Wiseman, as was Mrs W’s brother.

WC92 (#2), decanted 3pm, after the first bottle was (erroneously) thought wrong.

Same colour as its brother: red-pink, 40% opaque. Palate very similar, showing strawberries, good length and weight. Slightly rougher than the first bottle, but still solid drinking Port.

Two days later still good drinking. Big, mid-sweetness, dark-fruited, perhaps sweet plums, certainly not strawberry, and the balance somehow imperfect. But still good drinking.
