20% opacity, red-orange. Nose has faint hints of fruit. Smooth, sweet, gentle tingle of heat. Very refined.

Re: 1966 Cockburn
Pale rose red, attractive appearance; 30% opaque. A wonderful nose of spiced Christmas fruit - absolutely wonderful. Round and smooth in texture, soft at first then a good core of acidity supporting sweet and fragrant fruit. Wonderful texture and balance. Sweet, spritely aftertaste focused on the fruit. Long, fragrant and fresh finish with a terrific core of bitterness. 93
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.
2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports.

Ck66. Red, 40% opaque. Nose of smoke and leather. Palate with a hint still of red fruit, and sweet, but no smoke.
