PnP - butterscotch and nuts on the nose (walnuts?). Maybe a touch of red fruits as well. Butterscotch and mint on entry, with plenty of toffee and nuts on the mid palate, but this doesn't make it sweet, in fact this is one of the drier aged tawnies that I've tried. There's some sticky marmalade here too... There's something here that puts me in mind of an oloroso style sherry.

+ 2 days - orange zest and caramelised nuts. Some toffee, of course. Very much Christmas in a bottle right now, this is lovely. The rest of the bottle was shared with friends who were extremely delighted to try it.

I like this a lot, and may well look to acquire a few more bottles.
