Mid red with a pale rim. Light and pretty port.

Pretty mid field for the colour - "about expected". Slightly muted nose. Palate packed full of almonds and strong heat.

Clear. Quite red in the middle. Fading to the edge. Lovely nose. A bit smokey with some almonds. Good fruit in the mouth, still. A long aftertaste. Some decent acidity. Extremely quaffable.

Light/mid red. I thought that the nose on this one stayed quite muted throughout the evening (and was perhaps a little vegetal, too). On the palate this wine improved throughout the tasting, and I thought that a redcurrant frangipane grip built markedly towards the end.

Deep cherry red colour, 60% opaque. A hint of TCA on the nose, a little of the TCA on the palate causing the fruit to be muted although the sweetness shows clearly what the wine might have been. NR. Drunk 20-Oct-21. Decanted 7 hours.
