I confirm I will have both Graham and Niepoort LBVs open. Both are, in fact, now open.

Excellent news.

Am now considering the Taylor/Graham 15 combo. Don’t want to feel left out and would be a shame not to make use of JDAW’s efforts.

I will do the same. When will you decant? On the day, noon?
They are filtered LBVs, will decanting early help much? The Taylor is already open, but I'm happy to open the Graham at a time deemed ideal.
Based on my experience while tasting several 2015 LBVs before Christmas, yes. I felt that the 2015 Graham LBV was best on the second day. It was served pop-and-pour on the first night which may have contributed to the second day showing better. Ergo, I would decant it for at least 4 hours - full-on decant, not just pop the cork and let it get some air.

I wish I could find some in the US... it has reached the east coast, but has not yet reached my usual internet stores in California. I'll be picking up a case once it does reach CA!
That's good to know! I had never really considered the possible positive effects of decanting on a filtered LBV but it does make sense (and thanks to Julian for raising the point in the first place). I'll aim to decant early in the afternoon tomorrow.

I’m going with the Taylor and Graham 15’s. The Taylor has been open since Friday and it’s only ok so looking forward to opening the Graham’s tomorrow morning.

Was intending to decant this morning, but had to leave house at 0515 to go to London (only found out at 2300 last night). Hopefully back early this afternoon so double decanting looks likely.

Ouch, not a pleasant surprise. Hopefully you won't have the same thing happen to you tonight!

G & T decanted 1545.
Quite QA check and both, especially G, very pleasant.

That looks like a lovely bottle of port Charles. Most disappointing that it is a virtual tasting and we aren’t able to sample it with you. I hope it will be every bit as nice as I have decided in my own mind it should be. Enjoy...

That GC70 LBV looks marvelous! I'm with Simon, I wish we could all be together so that we could all taste it!

Crasto '11 375ml decanted at 8:00 am (for the 11:00 am tasting).

I've just taken a small sample of my Graham 2015 LBV decanted last night. It is delicious - thank you Glenn for the recommendation of a lengthy decant.
