Thursday 3rd June 2021 - dinner?

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

In his post organising the Emergency Virtual Offline of yesterday, Harry mentions a tasting organised for today.

Unable to make yesterday’s tasting I find myself free later this evening. Do we have anything arranged?

I think at one stage one of the Quevedo tastings was scheduled for tonight.

Oh dear. My error.

What on earth should I do with the bottle of Vesuvio 1994 I have just decanted?

Whatever you do, do not try to recant. You would be branded a heretic.

Excellent advice, which I shall heed. I am now 2 glasses in and it’s fabulous juice.

I gave this suggestion due consideration and then decided not to. Sorry everyone — the black cherry deliciousness in mine! All mine!! Mwah ha ha ha HA!

Apologies to all. I put this in the planner but have been swamped with work the last couple of weeks and failed to open a list for it.

Believe next session is planned for Weds 9 June.

As an interim alternative, I'm likely to be in London next Thursday (3rd June). Does anybody fancy meeting up?

Justin and I had a small emergency offline, me with my Vesuvio 1994 and Justin with Maynard’s 1992 LBV.

Thursday 3rd…I think I could be free…
