• Weird bug not understood, but I have found a change that ought to make no difference that repairs the apparent problem. (It can also be fixed by changing SW to SZ; by distilling with Preview or Ghostscript; but not by changing typefaces. Perhaps Adobe has a special problem with the string (SW).)
• Pre-pour sheets not quite in optimal order. Methinks not worth fixing both in programmer time, and in adding more lines of parameters.

Highly unlikely, otherwise lots of London post codes and compass references would have highlighted the problem before now.

With a double-nested PostScript form, each doing scaling, with moveto’s immediately before and after, and lots of other details? Note that the string is, not contains, (SW).

It’s a terrible hypothesis, except that I don’t have a better one that fits the available data.
