2014 Quinta do Pessegueiro

Lovely purple tone in colour and with a fresh blackcurrant nose. The texture on the palate is quite lovely with generous tannins and lots of fruit. The finish is lively and fresh with a delightful mineral edge to the finish that compliments the sour blackcurrant with an austere overtone. Very pleasant. 87/100. Drunk 04-Apr-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
