Pale red-gold colour, very light at only 20% opacity. A very unexpected nose, perhaps a bit stewed. Light entry, a touch simple with syrup but little fruit. Sweet and simple - could this have suffered light damage? Some sweet candied fruit does appear on the finish and has good persistence. 80/100. Decanted 7 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
