Tasted at the Sunday Times wine show at the Old Billingsgate market.
Bottled 2016. Deep chestnut colour, 20% opaque. Gentle caramel and VA on the nose. Initially hollow on the palate but the flavours grow well as the wine warms in the mouth. Toffee and orange with great concentration and a discrete but perfect level of acidity. Great balance. Nice port. 91/100. Drunk 19-May-17.
