Bottled 2017. Modest orange-brown colour; 10% opaque. A lovely cloud of toffee smells comes out of the glass, spicy and lively. Smooth palate , like liquid gold(en syrup) over diced pears and quince. Delicious hints of coffee show on the late palate. A big orange aftertaste and elegant burnt toffee finish. This is very nice port.
It was also confirmed that Sogevinus have no stocks of 1968 colheita. 95/100. 06-Nov-17.

Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.
2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
