So, AHB perused the thread and didn't spot the booking, I perused the thread and didn't spot the booking, and JDAW couldn't remember if he'd made the booking, it being rather a long time ago..

Before I cancel the second booking, the law of sod being what it is, perhaps JDAW could check his first booking is still in the B&F's book..

OK - a question:

Do we go for an eighteen bottle lineup and include '94 and '00 - or go for a sixteen bottle event leaving them out?

I have plans to travel down with the oldest bottles some time next week - anyone fancy an informal meet to make better use of the journey..?

Personally, I'd stop at the 85; I might have been tempted to include 94, but not 2000.

I can't make it, but there is already an emergency next Tue, if you haven't seen.

Tom - are you providing all the bottles, or are you aiming for others to bring some? If others are required to contribute, what's needed from others needs to be communicated.

Agree with Phil and probably stop at 85. I have to hand the 63,70 and 72 with the 70 the easiest of the three to be able to provide.

16 vintages of Offley, ranging from 1924 to 1985, split 13 ways, and not including food or tip, works out at a modest £129 pp

Possible add-ons:

Offley 1910 - adds £15 pp

Offley 1975 - adds £3 pp

Not wrong. However if this reply seen in time, I would like "Flatbread, lemon & coriander houmous" (listed under bar snacks rather than starters on current menu) as a starter instead of my default, please. If not seen in time to modify, no worries, happy with default. Thanks.

Is it still needed from me? Will see if I can retrieve it in time. Probably not going to be the star of the lineup I would suggest
