Cr66, decanted 07:00. Red-brown, 30% opaque. Nose faintly orange. Palate dominated by acidity; some marmalade; just too old.

Purchased by CMAG from MWH Wines. Sealed with a thin plastic capsule on the top of which was stamped "Croft 1966 Vintage Port". When the plastic capsule was removed, the top of the cork was soaked.

From memory (as my notes have been lost), This was sweet and very evolved, pleasant but not one to keep.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
