A half bottle decanted 12 hours before tasting. Glossy dark wine with a splendid rich mid-palate, more black forest gateau than the usual dark fruits. Finish perhaps a touch shorter than perfection would demand, but this is nevertheless very good wine. From 375 this wine is fully ready to drink, but even in this format may just possibly improve. Tasted 19/09/19.
