1980 Gould Campbell

A half bottle popped, decanted, and poured impromptu after lunch. A dark pink, 40% opaque. Quite a subdued nose, but rich and sweet in the mouth with a good note of fig mid-palate. In half, fully mature and very pleasant, but not port of the top rank. Tasted 06/10/19.
