70% opaque red juice. Very strong herbal scent on nose. Congruent palate. Young yet. Eucalyptus. Spice. Gently warming. Tasted blind at B&F 9 January 2020. Courtesy IDJ.

50% opacity, dull red. TCA nose I thought. REd fruit, dryness and some acidity, short finish.

Deep red, hints of maturity; 95% opaque - looking like a Port from the 1990's. Vigorous fruit on the nose, even slightly aggressive. Assertive young and forward fruit on the palate and lots of chalky tannins, a big and youthful Port. Young, yet polished and quite floral, with the floral fruit flowing on to the aftertaste. Lots of blueberry and unroasted coffee bean. Served blind, this was guessed to be Sandeman 2013 LBV. 87/100. Tasted 09-Jan-20. Decanted 13 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
