I have before, many times before, made last minute changes to placemats. But never before such slaughter.

People and bottles removed; tasting re-titled. Please would one of the survivors check.

We have gone from A3 to A4. Three glasses work with SideBySideGlassesTastingNotes, which is effectively A5 for each. E.g.:

There was an earlier message asking for not Niepoort. Wait and I’ll find.

Edit: found.

PS: droplets rearranged on placemats, now inspired by the vision of a man coughing.

Am in the office tomorrow, so will still print the placemats, etc.

T & F both decanted at 2200ish. Surprisingly large amount of sediment, particularly from the F.

RP decanted about 7am. Surprisingly little sediment, just lots of fine sludge.

Could we have suggestions from non-attendees of topics that we can discuss tonight which aren't COVID-19 related?

How long do the producers need to starve the market of new VP production to clear the historical excess, and force secondary market prices above release prices?

2000 vintage prices are still about 40% below release prices, in real terms, without taking into account storage costs.

After two decades of supply starvation, the strategy still isn't working..

The British government can borrow for 50 years at an interest rate of about 1%. What are the good long-term investments for which the government should borrow?

We are in the Board Room this evening - that’s the room immediately on the right as you enter from the street.

I have my laptop with me this evening. If anyone wants to join by video Skype we can sit you at the end of the table. Just let me know.

I should also add that I am in the room now and have started writing my tasting notes so as not to be behind everyone else when they both arrive.

Sadly those plans have had to be postponed due to lack of available funding - collapsing world markets have not helped the cause.
