From half. 80% opaque red juice. Citrus fruit and fruit blossom on the nose and the promise of richness. Melton Hunt Cake, says my rather precise co-taster, on the front palate. Molasses, somehow savoury, and poached plums with star anise towards the end. Drying chocolate and coffee tannins. Very nice wine, ready to drink with a long decant, but surprisingly different to the half consumed just over a week ago. Decanted 07/04/20, consumed (mainly) 08/04/20.
