Bottled 2019
Reddish brown wine with obvious tears.
Nose of turkish delight, jamaica ginger cake, sultanas, hint of something a little hot - VA? - at first but that soon blew off.
Caressing texture in the mouth, even a hint of cake mix at first, creamed demerara sugar and butter. Then kirsch, chocolate raisins (and increasingly other chocolate covered comestibles with time) and a nice rainier cherry note.
Marmalade and chocolate on the finish, my co-consumer insisting it was lindt excellence milk chocolate
All very smooth and pleasant.
Popped and poured over dinner with a friend 17/06/20.
