From half bottle. 9 hour decant.
Completely opaque, purple rim. Waves rather than legs.
Big brooding nose, almost brutal, but it's all fruit, no heat at all showing. Little hint of orange after a while, dried citrus peel.
In the mouth, lovely rich smooth sippin' young port despite a hint of warmth late. Fat. Lots of blackcurrant and then the chocolate tannins, Lindt 90% insists my co-taster, because of the slightly grainy quality. Very long.
Serious port to revisit circa 2040.
Consumed (with co-taster) 15/07/20
