2021 Virtual Tasting #2 - Wednesday 27th January

Post by nac »

Next event...

As previously suggested how about a Tawny theme? Maybe 10 YOs?

Hopefully MPM can do the honours again with Zoom capability?

I will struggle to join for long on any given Wednesday night but I'll definitely aim to drop in and say hi. I have a 10yo Noval and a Poças colhieta to decide between...

Yes please. I don't have any 10yo but I do have a Sandeman 20yo which I'd love to crack open for this.

I am, alas , unlikely to be able to make this one. I look forward to hearing what everyone drank, though.

If anyone is looking for a reasonably accessible 10YO, then the Morrison own label at £12 a bottle comes highly recommended by AHB.

Yes please! I will have to step out for a bit to participate in a work meeting, but that shouldn't take too long.

Yes please. There isn’t a Morrisons locally, but I have 10Y of both Valadão and Quevedo.

Yes please, although I will be late as I have a tasting already that evening.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
