Anything but Port, this includes all wines other than fortified wines (which have their own section) even if they call themselves Port. There is a search facility for this part of the forum.

NV Campbells Wines: Classic Rutherglen Muscat

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A wonderful dark amber colour, 60% opaque. Orange marmalade on the nose, sweet and citrus. Amazing thick texture on the palate, orange blossom honey flavours with floral perfume. Big and sweet palate but with the acidity to keep the wine from being cloying. Long honeyed finish, with multiple delicate layersof flavour to the honey. This is a wonderful, rich and deeply satisfying wine. 90/100. 14-Feb-21. Decanted 24 hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
