A sample from a bottle which had been open for 3 days. Gentle, dry, brown sugar; evolved and very tertiary. Birch sap bitterness and some heat on the finish. Pleasant fireside Port. 85/100. (Phil says it was much better on day 1.) Opened 05-Jul-21.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
