NV Barao de Vilar Tawny (35th Anniversary Edition)

Cask sample. A blend made to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the company in 2019.

Gentle olive brown. Nutty character. Fresh with an olive bite. Nicely balanced with good development. Mouth-filling finish with a lovely mintiness and a touch of cinder toffee. 90/100. Tasted 08-Feb-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
