1947 Barao de Vilar Colheita

Cask sample shown by Fernando van Zeller. Dark olive brown core and a green rim. Gentle nutty VA on the nose. So thick in texture. Balanced flavours, concentrated orange with wonderful growth in flavour on the late palate. Amazing finish. 93/100. 08-Feb-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
