1966 Quinta do Noval

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A lovely mature red colour, 80% opaque. Sweet cherry fruit on the nose, fragrant and perfumed. A lovely balance to the palate with generous fruit and sparkling acidity combined with a great floral balance. A lovely floral and sweet cherry aftertaste and a big finish. This was a lovely, enjoyable and mature Vintage Port. Known to be from Noval, I guessed the vintage to be 1967. 91/100. Drunk 26-Apr-22. Decanting time not known.
