NV Andresen White 10YO (bottled 2020)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2020. A warm orange colour, 10% opaque. Limited on the nose but some vigorous swirling persuaded a soft orange blossom to rise out of the glass. Sweet and soft candied citrus fruit on the palate and a long finish of sticky, bitter-sweet orange. A little simple and straightforward but perfectly pleasant. Served blind. 86/100. Drunk 17-May-2022.

Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

25% opacity, gleaming copper amber. Full mouthfeel, nectarine, some butter and almond.
