I will assemble the food order.

Alan has advised the Ports he and Tony are bringing. Just waiting on Tony’s food order.

Room for one more? Assuming yes:

Food order please:
- starter: Grilled flatbread with lemon and coriander houmous
- main: Would be happy to share a medium-rare bone-in ribeye with Mike; otherwise Sirloin medium-rare. Please Bearnaise sauce if possible, and fries.

Port:
- Probably a Cockburn 1967 "Joanna" bottling, unless that's a duplication with anyone else.

Can anyone print the placemats? Since retiring, I have lost my access to a decent printer.

Julian - first post has been updated with the known bottles. Note change of initials for Tony, who is now TCz so as to distinguish him from Tony Carter.

Truffle Mac n cheese (yes, I see that it’s now for two to share but am sure someone can assist or else I should be able to cope!)
Steak (M-R) and fries plus green beans and shallots.

Will look to bring a Df66.

Julian - can we incorporate onto the tasting mat or the tasting notes sheet each person's food order? Then each person will know what they ordered and I won't need to shout at everyone to remind them.

Done, experimentally, with code injected via PaintForegroundCode, such that each person’s food order is at the bottom of his first TN sheet.

Please check data (of food as well as Ports and people).

Please comment on design and placement etc, ideally in issue 163.

Such a simple idea… astonishing it has not been thought of before in the hundreds of sittings the placemats have been used for, most with some kind of ‘what did I order??!!’ chaos. Retirement is firing those grey cells together!

There are 486 events on the placemats list at jdawiseman.com/papers/placemat/placemats_list.html (caution: ≥20 MB of images, so WiFi not mobile data).

Checked. All appears to me to be correct.

And I love the food order inclusion! It looks perfect to allow people to know what they ordered and not to steal my fries from other people.

All fried-potato food is delicious. It’s extra delicious if fried in bacon fat, but even without that, is still delicious.

I agree, and as an Irish Scot it would be blasphemous not to. But I really do agree.

Does this mean that Charles is:
(a) bringing a delicious Champagne for with starters,
(b) will be performing his latest TikTok challenge, and/or
(c) is just too hot today, like many of us.
