1960 Taylor

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A very fine haze sits in the wine, which is a pale rose red colour, about 40% opaque. Surprisingly closed on the nose showing little, perhaps a touch of menthol. Bland and uninteresting on the palate, some dried fruit slowly build up on the mid-palate to eventually give a decent mouthful. Mint and menthol on the aftertaste and decent length finish. Not a good bottle. 85/100. Tasted 25-Jul-22.
