Bottled 2020; deep red, gentle perfumed nose with fruit and flowers. Smooth and sweet entry, light bodied and a little disjointed. Gentle fruit, fierce tannins and good acidity. Dried bitter sloe fruit on a long and persistent finish. 84/100. Will it have the balance to evolve? Tasted 09-Jun-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
