2017 Taylor LBV

A bottle opened and poured. Pure sweet fruit juice on the nose, sweet fruit on the palate with the complexity of blackcurrant cordial. Good balance, great finish. Not a wine which will challenge the intellect but very easy to drink. 86/100. Drunk 04-Jun-22.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
