Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - CANCELLED
Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - 23 FEB 2023
Right, now need to start thinking about bottles.
Who can supply what? Feel free to comment here or email/dm me.
Apart from the Warres what else is there?
In addition to the Warres I've got some late release Cockburn 1970 and Croft 1977.
Obviously also need well stored original release bottles of everything as well.
Assuming 14 attendees let's go for 8 different VPs, so 16 bottles in total.
Also, if you haven't confirmed please do so. Suspect some reserves might make it off the bench.

I confirm attendance. Have W77, W94 normal release. Have no late release bottles of anything other than (accordingly to cellar records) a solitary bottle of (recorked) G70.

I regret this had dropped from my calendar when I accepted the Magnum decanting experiment.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to make 3 tastings in Feb, so I will give up my place at the table.

Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

There is now at least one space for this and no reserves.

My apologies but I will not be able to make this now.

My sincere apologies, but I have to drop out of this as I am going to have a dinner of obligation in Birmingham.

Re: Warre Private Cellar & Other Late Releases vs “Normal” Bottlings - CANCELLED
Due to reduction in attendees (and lack of reserves) have taken the decision to cancel this.
May reawaken the idea for this at a later date.
Shall I see if we can move to the Green Room instead for a bring-a-bottle?

Re cancellation:
BaB very much a lesser substitute, but still worthwhile.
