2019 Ferreira Porto

Single quinta wine from Ferreira. Narrow rim, lovely purple colour. Pure ripe purple fruit nose, bramble and black cherry. So smooth on the palate. Rich fruit, perfectly ripe yet with a nice grip. Medium weight and beautifully balanced. Fruit driven aftertaste, and a long redcurrant finish. Such a nice wine.  93/100. 17-Jan-23. Decanted 2 hours.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports.
